As I stated in my first post one of the great questions on this planet is which is better, The Little Giants or D2: The mighty ducks. However another question branched off, who is the better fictional coach, Rick Moranis' Danny O' Shea or Emelio Estevez's Gordon Bombay. Obviously by the the title of this post you might be able to presume that I support Emelio. You would be correct.
Let's Look at the facts. In Little Giants Rick Moranis is a p'd off little brother who is tired of being in his big brother's shadow. While in D2: The Mighty ducks Emelio is a coach coming off of a hockey injury that came between his dream of making it into the NHL(National Hockey League, Codeman). I consider this to be a tie between the two primarily because I am a younger brother and can see where he's coming from. When it comes to there jobs, Rick Moranis's full time job is owning and operating a tow truck service while Emelio works at Hans' Ice Skaing shop. I give the edge to Emelio because Hans is just sweet. Next you have to compare there talent, obviously when looking at there teams Rick Moranis had less to work with, However he did have the Ice Box and Junior throwing the ball. Obviously not only did Emelio have the team that won him the Minnesota Pee Wee Hockey Championship but he also had five of the best players in the nation. However the fact that he had Goldberg on his team means that most of the talent on this team gets cancelled out because he sucked major ass. So it must be proclaimed that Rick Moranis had more talent. The next category that must be assessed is the level of the talent of the competition, obviously Emelio faced better competition, even though the Cowboys (The Giants Opposition) had the Michael Vick of Pee Wee football. But let's face it, Emelio had to face the best hockey players in the world during the Junior Goodwill games. So Emelio win's this category as well. Finally come's their coaching credentials and strategy. Rick Moranis was able to come back from a 21 point deficit and win, by using a play well known to any sports fan, The Anexation of Puerto Rico. However I consider this to be plagerism, for he stole the play from John Madden and it was the nerdy kid that implemented the play. While Emelio had the flying V and had the Russ Tyler and Goldberg switcherroo, which is one of the pure plays of genius in any fictional setting. So again I give the Win the Emelio.
Let it be known that in almost all of the categories that Emelio absolutely destroy's Rick Moranis. Also Honey I Shrunk the kids sucked and he was an absolutely horrible ghostbuster. Plus I do not know if it matters to anybody else but he is just a tool bag. Go Emelio!!!!! And god bless Gordon Bombay. By the Way Gordon Bombay had to deal with players that called other players "Cake Eaters", which is just retarded, whats wrong with eating cake, I eat cake, I enjoy cake, So in conclusion Jesse Hall was a D-Bag.
